My Opinions on the Derek Rosa Case of Hialeah, Florida

 Hi All, hope you're all doing well. I'm sure many have heard of the Derek Rosa case in Hialeah, Florida. If you haven't, here's a quick recap (idk if recap is the proper word, when I remember what the word is I'll change it):

  • Derek Rosa is a 13-year-old who confessed to killing his mom, 39-year-old Irina Garcia in their apartment in Hialeah, Florida on the 12th of October of 2023.
  • After her murder, Derek called 911 where he confessed to stabbing his mom to death.
  • Derek's newborn step-sister, who was only 2 weeks old at the time, was found sound asleep & unharmed in her crib, just feet away from her mom's bed.
  • Irina Garcia was stabbed approximately 46 times all over her body, with a pink kitchen knife (I assume that's the murder weapon).
  • According to Derek's stepfather, Frank Ramos, he was away in Georgia because he works as a truck driver.
Now here are my views on the case (trigger warning, although everyone also has different views so let's all remain civil, tysm):

So, allegedly Derek killed his mom, but in my opinion, I believe Derek is innocent. I think that somebody else was in the apartment that night and stabbed Irina (most likely the stepfather Frank Ramos), and then he/she threatened Derek into taking the blame.

Now here are the reasons why I believe this to be so:
  • a.) Firstly, when Derek confessed to the killing, he said that he was wearing the very clothes he wore when police came to arrest him; said clothing are: a long-sleeved navy blue pajama shirt, striped navy blue pajama pants, and a pair of sandals. Here are pics & vids:
(The video shows moments before and after the murder happened; he was wearing the exact same set of clothing the entire time)
        b.) On the baby cam, there's a photo of "Derek" looming over his sleeping mom just moments before the murder. But the person in the photo is wearing a different set of clothing: a short-sleeved light-colored shirt and a pair of light-colored pants (navy blue is a dark color), also the person in the photo looked somewhat heavy-built like the built of an older man, while Derek is skinny. (It's possible that the real perpetrator forced him to take this picture and send it to an online friend he was playing video games with, named Sweden) (Or it's possible that the perpetrator edited the photo to make it look like Derek did it)
  • Frank Ramos has been awfully suspicious. He was interviewed about his thoughts and he said that supposedly he was in Georgia working as a truck driver. In his own words, Frank said that when the murder happened, he received photos on his phone from the baby cam, but there were no videos (I could be wrong about this, I only know that he said he only received small bits of the moment). Yet, he said that when she first got stabbed, Irina got out of bed and tried to fight back against her aggressor, she even ran around the room trying to escape him but because she had just recently given birth to her daughter, she collapsed on the bed where the perpetrator finished her off. Now what I'm getting at here is, how does Frank know that Irina tried to fight back and ran around the room if the only thing he got were photos and he wasn't even there so how would he know this. Also if he somehow knew all of this, why didn't he call the police the moment he saw the photos that "supposedly" show her running around the room and fighting against her aggressor.   • Also, during Derek's 911 call, he mentions his stepfather, Frank Ramos a lot, moreover near the beginning of the call, Derek said in quote "Someone stabbed my mom". Here are videos of the 911 call:
(something falls in the background and you even hear him scream out of fear that the perpetrator(s) are gonna kill him or his baby sister too)
(Also, the 911 call was much longer than what was shown to the public media and what was shown to the media cuts out a lot of parts including when Derek says "Someone stabbed my mom." And they emphasize the part when Derek takes the blame.)
  • Derek also said that he killed his mom with a long purple knife, yet the murder weapon that was shown by authorities was a small pink knife. Also, during the 911 call, Derek says he doesn't know where the knife is, but in my opinion, I think realistically you would remember clearly where you left the murder weapon after killing someone.
  • Also, Frank got a new girlfriend shortly after Irina's death (I'm not too sure about the date), and he brought her here from Cuba. But realistically, if your significant other just got murdered, how would you be able to move one so quickly.
  • Additionally, on April 2nd, it said that the physical evidence on Irina's murder had just recently been sent to the lab, but the murder happened on 12 October 2023, why is the physical evidence being studied now when it literally happened about 6 months ago.
  • Also, Irina's body was cremated shortly after everything that happened, but why was her body cremated so quickly. Her body shouldn't have been cremated until a proper autopsy was done first and even then, the cremation of her body was done way too soon, but why though...
  • Also, I remember hearing something about Irina having a large amount of money (I think it's called a trust fund) saved for her children if anything bad were to ever happen to her, but Frank would have nothing to do with said money. Realistically, people would do anything for money.
  • Finally, why is everyone in the media so invested in condemning Derek yet nobody is investigating Frank Ramos. (of course, I'm not saying this to judge or backlash anyone but it just feels very strange to me)
Now, I could be completely wrong about all of this but idk this whole case is just very suspicious, and for me personally, I believe and stand firm with the fact that Derek is innocent and that he was falsely accused for his mom's murder.
